DoDMERB down today? 1/16/18

When I go to the DoDMERB site, it still says that the web server is experiencing problems and to not log on.

With the shutdown, it probably won't be fixed anytime soon.

You do not request a waiver, the commissioning source will do that if they source desires to go down that path.

You’re right. My medical status just changed to “pending waiver submission/review”. From what I understand after doing some reading, USMA will automatically request a waiver for competitive candidates. As such, is this change in my medical status a good sign? My regional commander had told me in an exchange over e-mail that I was a competitive candidate. Does that have anything to do with the reason why my status changed so quickly?
Sorry if my post is causing this thread to go off topic. Anyway, thanks for the help fellas.

Just for everyone's benefit, I thought I'd share that I went in for my physical exam today and was told they'd have to reschedule me when the shutdown was over. Make sure you call before hand just in case before you waste an hour trip like I did.
I spoke to a DODMERB technician today 1/23/2018. I was told their systems are still down and files are not accessible, nor are they able to add info (AMI's, etc) that come in to those files. If the system is not back up by Friday 1/26/2018, they have a backup plan they will implement, but that too has problems associated with it. Say a prayer it gets fixed soon and for the good people working there that are inundated with frustration on all fronts.

I literally just got off the phone five minutes ago. I was told the same thing.
A couple days ago Mr. Mullen told me my remedials would now be processed on March...it was going to be two weeks now this has added a month to my process and that is just the remedial process. There was an error on their part and they need to revise it so it will take more time and then the waivers... I am worried I might have to extend my time in the program since I am supposed to commission on May 2018.
Wow! When did you submit your remedials? That time frame is crazy! They will have lots of new people to process from all the academies as well!
I was asked for remedials since January 10th...I am still sending them because I have had to contact about 4 doctors and getting all together has taken me 2 weeks. I will be sending all tomorrow. I am working on this with him going back and forth. Still waiting until March is very far away. I have not told him I am in such a time sensitive program. I don't know if he will care with all the problems they have right now...I might send him an email with my concern and see how it goes.
Ugh yes it is frustrating! My son's status changed from under review to remedial requested on Jan 9th but still no codes! I just want to know what they want so we can start addressing it!
