DoDMERB: What does it means when you haven't received information?

Here is the email I sent to my admissions officer and others that lays out my situation:

"Would it be possible if you could please help me answer some urgent questions?
I applied to the academy for Regular Action for the Class of 2019.
I have checked my app status everyday, and it says that the review board has not read it yet. That's ok, however, I am worried and confused about the DoDMERB process. If the deadline to complete the DoDMERB examination is April 1st, and I haven't received any information on how to schedule it or heard from the academy and I'll know by April 1st, how is possible to get the examination done by then? I am also confused on the other DoDMERB date of June 1st?

*To clarify, I have not received any information, email, phone call, mail, etc. about the DoDMERB or about my DoDMERB information. It was in my understanding that I was supposed to receive the information.*

Do I need to contact DoDMERB? I don't know what to do.

If there is any way you could please provide some clarity and explain the dates and/or process to me because I am really confused and do not want to miss out on a deadline or opportunity. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated!

Usually they send you instructions in the mail telling you to schedule your appointments but snail mail can take a long time and is inconsistent sometimes. I would recommend going to DODMETS and trying to login under applicant login with your social security number as your username and your last name as your password. If that lets you in then you can fill out the information and begin scheduling your medical examination. I would also call DODMERB regardless of if this works or not to see if you two are on the same page. The way I went through the DODMERB process was pretty easy. You have to trigger it through a service academy or ROTC application by completing it a certain amount. I received a letter in the mail from DODMERB with instructions and went to the website. I spent an hour filling out things and then I was given an optometrist and doctor to visit. They were normal doctors offices and you might even go there for your check ups. Mine were 5 and 15 minutes away. I then went and took the exams. They were free and the doctors send everything to DODMERB for you. DODMERB reviews the information and either passes, denied or sends out remedial and waivers. I was sent a remedial because I was really nervous the first time and my heart rate was alarmingly high. Waivers are most common for people that do not have perfect eye sight and it has to be confirmed that it will not cause any problems. Both remedials and waivers can extend the length of the process. Good luck.

That is the point of contact for scheduling your medical exams for DoDMERB.

You have a bit more time I believe (I could be wrong). My son has a conditional appointment, he needs a waiver from DoDMERB. His appointment letter said he had until June1 to get the waiver. I assume that means you may have until then to get DoDMERB clearance.

Call your AO for sure if you haven't already though.
