Does NROTC - MO using Tier 1, 2 & 3?

We have been discussing this and couldn't find a clear answer. Bottom line, does the NROTC-MO use the same tiering system as the NROTC scholarship? We are thinking the answer is "no" but would like to have somebody confirm if that is the case. Thanks

NROTC Tier systems regarding majors only apply to NROTC and do NOT apply to NROTC Marine Option. NROTC/MO does not care what the major of the midshipman is.

Thank you for the very quick response. That is what we suspected but the NROTC official page said nothing about MO so we didn't want to assume anything.

Just be logical and balanced about your choice. Pick something you can use during your career and afterwards. Pick something to enhance your leadership and overall awareness of world events. Consider a language minor. You'll be leading "kids" that need to look up to you as well as veterans older than you that will challenge you.
