So if I want to apply for West point and USNA I need a CFA for each.

So can I simply submit both forms to my coach, and then only take the CFA once and have him submit the results to each Academy?

Yes, although you might want to clarify for each academy who is authorized to administer the test. I thought WP required a PE teacher, not a coach (but I could be getting it mixed up with AF).

according to WP it must NOT be your own coach, and according to UNSA it needs to be any coach or gym teacher.

I know in general we tell kids that it's best to use a PE teacher if they can. Then if they decide later they want to apply to another academy, they can always resubmit that same CFA, whereas the coach can cause problems! :wink:

u can also use a military officer or a JROTC instructor if u know one. the CFA works 4 all academies, so u can use the same one for usna, usma, or usafa.

Our son's BGO did indeed administer his CFA. A side benefit was that it was a great way for them to get to know one another a little better.

Yes.You need

labels=1
labels=1

problem is my PE teacher is my coach...
Does your school only have one PE teacher? You can use any PE teacher.

check with West Point to see if your BGO administered exam will count. If your BGO is an officer (AD or retired) then it should count. If your BGO is a parent/civilian it may not count.
