Does anyone know when they will start releasing decisions or if they already have? I was under the impression that it was going to be rolling this year, but I could be mistaken. I just feel like if it was rolling more people would’ve heard back by now.

I have a feeling they will start to release decisions next week. It's not based on any new info but just a feeling.

Read through recent posts for more info - it is rolling however new boss is taking a bit to sign off on decisions. From what I have heard 500 decisions have been made (yes or no) and they will be releasing over the next week or so. I know it’s painful waiting game, in the same boat here

I think I read in last year posts EA is now announced in January. Prior to it was announced in mid November although some heard back earlier. My DS heard back in late Oct in 2017. I think it used to be for those who applied early and qualified heard back on Appointment earlier. Hurry up and wait is the conditioning we become familiar to. Good luck to your family and to the class of 2024.

Just heard this evening that decisions are being made in order according to the major chosen

I believe they are staring with the engineering majors first. Only appointments made so far have been LOAs. The intention is still to notify everyone by the 23rd of December.

Has there been any updates put out reference total number of applicants under Early Action this year?

My son just texted me from school. "I got in"

Apparently, a call appeared on his phone this morning that he could not answer while in class. He later got an email from his AO at USCGA asking him to please return the call (new phone, his VM was not set up....ugh!). Between classes, he returned the call.

His AO congratulated him on being selected to the USCGA Class of 2024. I did text him back to call me to elaborate, which he did. He didn't have much time to talk but said he was very excited...

Told him the obvious, I am very proud of him for his accomplishment.

First off, congrats!!

Did he have the “Cadet Candidate Evaluation Board Review Complete” box checked before he got the call? I was just trying to figure out if that would update by the time you get a call or not.

Congrats! What was his selected Major?
