It is still not letting me change schools either and there is a school I would like to add to the top of my list. I wonder if we have to wait a certain period of time for the first board to be finalized before we can edit.

DS went through same thing last year. You can only have your schools updated once you are boarded by going through Cadet Command via email as previously described. They are very busy and only have a small crew so it took awhile to hear back, as I recall. DS was awarded 3 yr AD to three schools on the 2nd board, not the one he wanted, which was VT. Then he got admitted to VT. He selected a school from his list of 3 and accepted the scholarship. Then after 3rd board he got upgraded to a 4 yr scholarship. He then contacted Cadet Command and requested the scholarship be transferred to VT. He called the VT ROO and asked for any assistance she could provide. And, voila! Now he's an MS 1 at VT in the Corps of Cadets. Don't worry, it will work out. I understand that Cadet Command almost always approves scholarship transfers.
The "before the next board" part is unimportant.

Were you boarded yet? Once our application went into "Boarded" status, it no longer gave us this opportunity anymore.
yes i was boarded when everyone else was, i didn't receive a scholarship at the first board though
