Just a question, how often are eye waivers given out? The only thing that's keeping me from being tripled qualified are my eyes. I have a soft disqualification, a -2.50 in each eye. Got my nomination, got my letter saying I'm scholastically qualified, and I'm pretty sure I'm well fit (met at least all of the average points for the CFA). What's the chances that I'll get an eye waiver, and how does USNA go about this process?

penquinz,

I'm just a bit confused here. You say you have a soft disqualification for -2.50 diopters in each eye, which is a USAFA soft disqualification, and then ask about USNA. Are you talking about the USNA soft disqualification for uncorrected distant visual acuity greater than 20/40?

If that is what you mean, then that is an admissions issue, if they offer you an appointment, then the issue has been cleared. If I'm way off base, please feel free to ask again!
