We'll be filling it out anyway. Never know what could happen and just want to make sure he has access to the federal loan if he was to need it.My son is a 1st year at Norwich University. He was just awarded a 3.5 yr Army Scholarship starting this semester. Do we still have to fill out a FASFA if his tuition is fully covered?
Norwich does provide a grant to cover room and board. They really make themselves a great option for ROTC scholarship recipients and also great financial aid for non-scholarship students.Congrats on the scholarship. Agree - you don't have a crystal ball for what the future holds, so prudent to file in case you need a plan B backup. Also, I'm not sure if Norwich covers room/ board for ROTC scholarship recipients, but if you qualify for any aid that financial/ merit aid those*possibly* could be used toward those fees.
