I read on the USAFA website that files are reviewed when they are complete. My status has shown my file complete for some time now, and my last ACT scores were the best. I assume the files are reviewed more than once? Thank you.

As soon as your application is 100% complete, it is put in a pile and reviewed by the board and given a score. Until it's 100% it isn't even looked at. Once you have a score, it is put aside. If the academy receives any new information; such as more recent ACT/SAT scores; you sent additional leadership info like receiving eagle scout, becoming captain of your basketball team, being selected for all-state something or another; as well as any other changes/additions to your application, the academy will add these to your file and adjust the score in that area appropriately. I.e. Readjust your academic score because your ACT scores went up. Or readjust your leadership score because you got elected as class president.

So yes, your file is reviewed and graded once it's complete. But you are allowed to add to the file any new information as you get it. Up to the cutoff date that is.
