Can anyone provide me with some final advice, or soothing words, as a final note before I have my WEST POINT interview tomorrow?

I've done many practice questions, but I FEEL ready, but some part of me says I'm not

I will be well-dressed professionally.

A pair of dark navy-blue dress pants,
A light-blue dress-shirt
A black belt
A dark navy blue tie.
And finally black dress shoes.

Thanks in advance!

Cool. Calm. Collected. Be respectful, but also be human. My interviews always went smoother when I was a human and showed some humor. If you’re just a talking robot with preset answers to all the questions, it won’t be as personable. This is your first interview of many so use it as a learning experience.

Best of luck! Feel free to PM me if you need anymore advice.

I second what Jman said. Let your answers to questions be natural and free flowing. I think honesty is the key, it will not only help yourself as a person find a way to truly articulate your motivations to serve and attend USMA but also present yourself in the most accurate way as an applicant. Embrace the nervous feelings and thoughts and enjoy an opportunity to talk about an obvious passion you have which is military service and attending a service academy! Do not attempt to create answers you think want to be heard! Be yourself and good luck!

Um sit up straight. Um be prepared to ask the interviewer some thoughtful questions you may have. Um be confident but not cocky. Um don’t say um.

may i ask what exactly this interview is for?

and good luck!!

Brush your teeth!!! Be early!!

And have a few questions jotted down that you may want to ask. Be you. Authentically and respectfully you. Mock interviews with a WP parent club grilled my kid, and they said he nailed all of it except he was robotic (nerves). Round two, he made adjustments and they were pleased.

Bring a pen and notebook to take notes, a printed copy of your resume, and know how to honestly answer the question why you want to go to West Point.

UPDATE:

The interview went very well... I was well prepared, I brought my printed resume, within a portfolio; she collected it. I was like 15 minutes early before the scheduled interview. I feel that personally, my answers came out smoothly and well said... To answer the question @westpointdreamer2004, this was my FFR Interview, for my application to C/O 2026.. I decided to go ahead with the process a bit early, and the lady seemed to admire that..

Overall it went well, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to do it!

Glad to hear it went well!

Did you just email your FFR asking for an interview? Do you mind elaborating on how you got started? I would like to start early as well...

A solid sign that you had an interview this early, as well as a very smart decision. As a 2025 appointee my #1 advice is to apply and finish your file early. Pound those SAT/ACT study hours and leave no stone unturned (CFA, Nom Interviews, Essays, etc.), put your all out effort in everything you can and good luck!

Yeah! I just emailed my FFR.... Although I can't really guarantee you'll get an interview this early in time.. It really depends on your FFR... I just emailed mine, and she was willing to set up an interview, and then so on..

I also so a correspondence in my USMA portal.... it says that I will be able to complete the rest of my application beginning June 1st... (Anyone else get this?)

Glad you were able to get an interview and it went well! DS wrote his FFR back in Mar and never received a reply. He wants to try again after the SSK opens. He does not have an official correspondence but does have an announcement (off to the right side) of his portal stating that the SSK will open June 1st.
