What happens if your final semester gpa falls below 2.5? As long as you pass all classes and graduate, you would still Commission, correct? Are waivers required?

What is PRB?
What is LOA in this context?
Hmmmm, I'm not sure but I'm guessing the CGPA. He had a 3.0 going into this last semester AFROTC SuperSenior AE degreeOverall GPA or a single semester GPA?
But wouldn't he already be "disenrolled" by graduating? Isn't a D in Structures or senior aerospace class passing? He has a Rated slot and orders in hand already also... why would the final GPA matter if he's graduating?Depends on which ROTC program you are referring to. NROTC requires students maintain at least a 2.5 semester and cumulative GPA. If you drop below that threshold, a PRB is probable. If a students performance includes failing grades in Calc/Phys (Navy option), major classes, or Naval Science classes, a PRB is all but required. For a first offense with academics, probation or LOA are possible. For continued deficiency, LOA or disenrollment are more likely.
Thank you! I was just hoping that someone on here may have run into the same problem at one time....I couldn't find any info on the specific scenario anywhere else...Everything I said was for NROTC. AFROTC has its own policies. He should consult his unit/advisor.
