I'm very aware that the AFA is cutting down on their class size this year, and thus not offering very many, if any, LOA's this year. However if they end up sending some out, would having everything on my application (including my H.S. transcript, school profile etc.) done except my college transcript, would that be enough to receive an LOA?

They do not give LOAs to college students, unless something has recently changed. The reason is they want to see how the student has done during their fall semester in college.

Keep working hard and get the best grades possible. Good Luck!

To my understanding (not perfect on this one, I will admit up front), LOA's are not offered to college students.

BUT...I won't say it couldn't happen. Sorta related in a different way...I've been told/trained for years that college students were NOT eligible for the USAFA Prep School (unless they were in the AF).

But I have a young man at the PS who was in college...his package though is rather unique and I was told: "We want him...we're going to put him in the PS for a year first!"

If they want someone THAT BAD, I suppose "they" can do what they want.
