DS received an email from MOC office saying his SAT/ACT scores have not been received. I forwarded him the receipt from college board showing that they were paid for on 13 Sept. He in turn sent that to them asking which scores they are looking for (the 6 Oct test scores are still "awaiting fulfillment" in the score sends page). I'm hoping it's just the most recent test they're not seeing yet and that they will see them any minute now...b/c if it's they have *no* scores to look at I'm going to be very annoyed. LOL

Something similar happened to me, my transcript was apparently mailed back without me knowing so I almost had a panic attack making sure it was mailed back since I found out about this on the day it was due. CB is really the worst though

Have you contacted the HS? Typically, at least for my kids that attended different in HS in different states (military brats) on their official transcript the HS has not only the date of every SAT/ACT exam, but the scores too. If that is the case, maybe your DS can call the MoC to see if they will accept that as proof IF the CB scores do not make it there by the cut off date.

Personally, I never really trusted CB, so I would always pay to have a hard copy sent to our home in case the electronic ones never got to all of the schools. We never opened the score results for proof that they were not tampered with. I do recall with our middle child the college contacted her saying they never got it, even though we had a receipt showing it was to be sent to that school. The school stated if she faxed a copy within 24 hrs, and it matched up to her transcript, they would accept it as they awaited for CB to give them the electronic scores..

The College Board is so annoying. Don't get me strarted on my opinions on this subject! Will the MOC take a hard copy from you? Ours all said that was accetable.

When both my kids applied to colleges, there were several colleges that either didnt get the test scores or werent able to match up the scores with the college application. It was only after calling them that it was corrected

College Board typically sends SAT scores within 10 days after the scores are released online so the Oct 6th scores may not have gone out yet. It takes longer if the student also took the essay portion. If the student chooses to include multiple test dates on the same report, the report won't be sent out until the most recent scores are available. It saves money to combine SAT scores on one report (unlike ACT, which requires payment for each test date), but during application crunch time the delay can get frustrating.

Our congressional rep asked for unofficial reports, which can be downloaded from the website. Perhaps your DS could email them an unofficial report for now with a note saying that the official report has been ordered and will arrive any day now?

Actually, that's what my DS did. He sent a paper copy of his SAT reports to MoC along with other documents required. In the cover letter he said, official copy has been requested with the CB to be sent directly to your office code xyz.

The same thing happened with my son's scores. I called college board and they gave us a file number to forward to the academy that would allow them to access the scores. That resolved the issue pretty quickly.
