Hey all!

I know the Army ROTC unit at Georgetown university is one of the top battalions in the country and it's my plan to join next semester. I was wondering if this unit was one with honors? i.e could a cadet in this unit be nominated to the Naval Academy?

Not sure what you mean by "Honors"

Remember being in a "Top" Battalion doesn't mean much if your not at the top. AROTC is about being as high on the OML as you can to get Active Duty and your branch choice. If you can be in the top 15%, it doesn't matter whether you attend Georgetown or the University of Wyoming (Good school by the way). My point is attend Georgetown because you want to attend Georgetown, not just because of the ROTC Battalion. Choose the school you believe you can thrive and do well, in the end that's what counts.

A cadet can apply to the USNA, but I would think that if you are interested in the USNA you would then join NROTC, not AROTC.
