Once sworn in to NROTC (no scholarship) does 2.5 GPA still play a role. Can you be unsworn in if that is even term?

There is no scholarship just contracted.

That’s the only thing that I know will happen with a low GPA. However, you could be placed on academic probation if your GPA doesn’t meet the standards(which I am not sure of). It might also make it harder for you to receive advanced standing which you need to commission.

Already have advanced standing and sworn in. I am a junior.

Not sure if swearing in to NROTC means that much. You can still be kicked and you can probably quit although there may be ramifications

A marginal GPA puts pressure on you.

You MIGHT still commission, but good luck getting your choice of assignment. It also places you at risk of being dis enrolled if your grades sinks further.

NROTC program academic standard is 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. That is per term and cumulative. You will not compete for a sideload scholarship with cumulative below 2.5. College Program midshipmen must meet same standards as scholarship midshipmen or risk being disenrolled from the program.
