Grab your tissues. Just watched The Art of Racing in the Rain. For this dog lover it was beautiful.
Drama, comedy, challenges, failures, success and redemption. I absolutely loved it.
Narrated by a Golden Retriever (Kevin Costner), it’s seen from the dog’s perspective. Not many films do this and fewer do it well.
Having owned, loved and spent the last moments of our golden’s life with him on our laundry room floor 19 years ago, this would have been emotional for me regardless of the plot.
But, really good. My outburst sob at one point scared Dixie the Heeler mix. She climbed in my lap to make sure I was ok.
Perfectly fitting.
Check it out.
