None are right so far. Here's a hint: it's in a state that is west of Montana and Wyoming but east of Washington and Oregon

I could have said no cause the Salmon River is pretty big but I'll give it to you. This is a picture taken from Stanley, Idaho. It is surrounded by the Sawtooth Mountains and is bordered by the Salmon River

I'll give a hint. It's on the western side of the north american continent. I'm just looking for the city here and not the specific area that this picture was taken
