Have Problem & Need Suggestions w/ NROTC

I have a problem that I hope someone may be able to offer some suggestions and or advice.
My DD has been contacted by our regional NROTC coordinator and several schools, informing her that she has received a NROTC Nursing Scholarship.

This information was given to my DD on 6 Apr 22. The only issue is that we have not received any communication officially. The portal which my DD had access to is no longer functional, and she, for some unknown reason, is not able to access the one requiring SSN and BD.

Our regional coordinator sent DD forms to fill out and submit for manual upload:

1 - Acceptance Form

2 - College Placement Form

Prior to him sending those forms, he gave us an email address to address the issue of the notification email.

My DD has not been able to get any movement on this matter at all. With the college placement deadline being 15 Apr 22, and colleges wanting a committment by 1 May 22, I think my DD is feeling the pressure to have someone simply acknoweledge offiicially by email, letter, or manual entry that she indeed received the NROTC Nursing Scholarship or not.

My DD emailed a Mr. G... B... (GK___ placement@.....) and that hasn't produced results, so any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated.

This post was placed on another thread and i think deals with your portal access issue

expand...It's been a few years, so I don't remember exactly, but I think there are two separate portals. Since the application period has closed, you may not be able to access results from the application portal, if that is where you are looking. I think this one should show your status.

You may get a warning saying the connection is not private and have to go to the advanced settings option to continue to the site.

And my office is filled with kryptonight. It's just some things are low hanging fruit. Call PNS at specific unit.....ask if person is on list.....send feedback to concerned parent.....color it done!

It's a very "Mullen-esque" approach, without the cool emojis. :bounce1:

I have a question for you. I received the NROTC Navy Option scholarship months ago but I did not gain admission to my top school/my host unit (on NETFOCUS). So I submitted my Placement Change Request a week ago to GWU from my original Unit (I was admitting to GWU). Today is the deadline for placement changes and I was worried I was not going to get into a new NROTC unit at a school I was accepted to. Is there anyone I should contact or step that need to be taken?
I can give you my contact information if needed.

I suggest you at a minimum PM CAPT Meyers, I would also get phone number of his office ASAP if today is indeed the deadline.

I've been wrapping up our Easter preps and interviewing candidates for side loads so I am just seeing this now.

I am assuming you received notification from NSTC that you were placed at your first choice unit and that you sent your request for GWU using the portal or the email address they provided you. If you can PM your specific details I can see what placement shows for you.

The good news is I still have a few spots left for my original cap although the MSI results may take me over. But I can usually tap dance my way into an extra here and there.

Separately, waiting until 1500 the day of the deadline.....hmmmm 🙄

But we can most likely figure it out.

I just was placed on the waitlist for USNA, and I submitted my placement request a week ago. I’m sorry for contacting you so close to the deadline. But i hope we can work this out.
