I realized I have never posted an introduction, so I decided why not post one now! I'm currently in grade 11 studying in Toronto, Canada, and I hope to get into USAFA next year. I love flying (recently got my license :) ), and the sciences. I found this site since I was looking for information, and I've found everyone to be really great at answering questions! If anyone has any general advice for applications (since I am in the process of beginning mine), etc, send me a direct message :)

Just curious. I have no idea if Canada has their own version of military academies, but why do you want to serve in the US military. I know Canada has their own Air Force?

She is an American Citizen with dual citizenship, Humey. Check her past posts.

As AROTC-dad said, I have dual citizenship (born in the states)! I believe the US has a much better military, especially the air force. There are more opportunities, and I love the service academies so much. I recently toured USAFA and felt that the school and I were a great fit for each other. The planes in the US air force also stand out much more to me. Lots of reasons :)

Have, and work on, alternate plans. Number 1 piece of advice. Things don’t always go the way we want…
