In my 11th grade year, I helped start a school club called the Community Service Council where we bring together all the groups of my school (NHS, JROTC, HOSA, etc.) under one umbrella club, which made it easier to coordinate community service events between the groups. I was also nominated to be a Vice President of the club. However, I did not think about including my help in finding the club in my package for USAFA. Should I contact my ALO and ask if he can include that I helped start a club in my package?

In the past, some candidates have sent updated resumes or additional awards straight to USAFA admissions counselor. It's worth a try - worst case they don't accept it.

Also, have your guidance counselor and/or club advisor submit a statement to your admissions counselor!

You will probably need a GC's or your club sponsor's letting actually attesting to what you did to help found this club. Was it your idea? How much work did you put in? time?

One must be very careful with EC's to make sure they are actually ACTIVITIES, not just honoraries. For many students, for example, National Honor Society is indeed an honor, and they should note that award, but at some schools, that's the end of it. NHS doesn't DO anything. In other schools, NHS is an active service group.
