Helps or hurts?

My admissions officer has asked me for any updates to my file. In my update, would it help or hurt to mention that I have been accepted to another academy? I don't want to be seen as bragging, but at the same time much of the advice on this forum says that this is no time to be humble. Does it help or hurt to mention this in my update?

I wouldn't mention it, but I don't think it would hurt if you did.
