I received a call about 72 hours before it appeared onto my portal.

DD got her appointment offer via portal update FRI15MAR2024.
It was a crazy FRI as offer for admission came in as well from UCLA, UC San Diego and UC Irvine.
DD is USMA bound Class of 2028.
Congratulations to all who have committed to join The Long Grey Line.

feeling less optimistic today after seeing the USMA post showing a stack of appointments going out in the mail for the SW region....I am sure my DS will be bummed when he sees the post.

Our D wore casual clothing that still looked put together. Slacks were sort of trendy athletic pants that were nicer than joggers but not khakis. Her tops were athletic stuff and she mostly wore a hoodie. It's really tough for the girls because they normally wear leggings or jeans, so they don't have a lot of casual pants. I do think wearing nicer jeans would be fine.

I, the Dad, wore casual slacks and a collared shirt. It was a very informal briefing and tour, so don't sweat it.

Thanks. These comments were all helpful. She had a great overnight visit.

For anyone still planning for their overnight visits with the same questions, I noticed most of the guys doing the overnight visits had nice pants, button down shirts, oxfords and some with blazers. My daughter worse khakis and dressy black jeans with nice sweaters and sneakers. She was definitely on the more casual side, but it worked out fine. The parents were slightly more casual.
