Here's how the BCT flights/squadrons turn into the academic year when they are real cadets.
The are 10 squadrons during BCT: A-J
Each of these squadrons have 4 flights in them.
That equals: 40 Flights.
Those 40 flights will take you equally into one of the forty squadrons during the academic year.
EXAMPLE: If you were in "I-Squadron in BCT, and the 4th Flight", that would be #36. You'll be in Squadron 36 during the academic year.
A 1-4 = Academic Squadron 1-4
B 1-4 = Academic Squadron 5-8
C 1-4 = Academic Squadron 9-12
.......
I 1-4 = Academic Squadron 33-36
J 1-4 = Academic Squadron 37-40
make sense?
