Hi, I know there are too many posts to count of individuals asking whether or not they have a competitive enough resume to be accepted for a nomination/admission. However, I am worried about the current state of my affairs and would like any and all constructive criticism and/or reassurance. I Have a 3.8 un-weighted gpa and a 4.2 weighted gpa with a class rank of 130/800. I just recently took the SAT and scored a 570 on the verbal (extremely low, I assume), 640 on the math, and 600 on the writing portion, bringing my score to 1810. I have earned my Gold Medal of Achievement, which is the highest award for Royal Rangers, a ministry in the AG church that is inherently "boy scouts for christ." The GMA is considered by most to be the equivelant to the Eagle scout. I have attended an anual militaristic leadership camp that is 4 days long for the past 6 years and plan to attend it this year also. I have held many leadership positions within several churches (I move quite a bit), and have volunteered regularly at countless fundraisers, camps, and activities. I am a jv tennis player, but hope to soon make varsity as of my senior year. I am extremely physically fit with a body fat-muscle ratio of about 8%. My mile time is also 6 minutes and 30 seconds. I try to work out regularly also. I have held a job for the last 6 months at a roller skating rink, and now have a job at sonic. Sorry for such a long list, but in the pursuit of the most accurate responses possible, i deemed it necessary. Again, thanks for all of your time, as I know you are busy.
