How does the offer of appointment display in the portal

I apologize for asking again, do you have to click the "Appointments & Interviews" button under events to see your decision? When I click this I get an invalid permissions note, so I assume the answer is no, but want to confirm nonetheless.

Appointments should be on the left side where it said "Application Submitted." I am not sure as I am still waiting but it should be a gold envelope- something you will notice right away.

“Appointments & Interviews” is on the right hand sign of your screen. That has nothing to do with getting an Offer of Appointment. That is more of a scheduling/calendar function, like if you scheduled an appointment to speak with your Regional Coordinator. I believe the Offer of Appointment will be on the left hand side of your screen where it is currently saying something like, “congratulations your application has been submitted and is under review”.

What’s your situation looking like this year. (LOA etc)

Sorry for the late response! No LOA (college reapplicant), received a nomination from my Senator in January, submitted application mid February. Now I just need to wait and see for USNA

It should look like this. In my case the decision was my LOA.

So does it show up like this for both appointments and if your application was denied?

Can someone post a screenshot of what the LOA or Appointment notification looks like? My DS finished his application in Dec, and this is how the new portal has looked since the beginning of Jan. Thanks!View attachment 8318

Hi, just found this thread and trying to make sense of it. My DS still has a portal page that looks like when he finished his application and submitted it.(see attached pic) Do you have to do anything to get the portal to look like the one above? I understand there’s a 2nd portal but it’s still confusing on how to get to it.

Go to the link https://usnacandidate.force.com/OnlineApp/TX_SiteLogin?startURL=
It should say log in, press that, and you get directed to the portal you are at now, login with your credentials then press the website back arrow key (undo key?) twice so you get to the first page. Then go up to the URL and delete "TX_SiteLogin?startURL=" then press enter. It should work.
