Second day in a row, an unidentified in-state number called my house - i rush to pick it up, nearly having a heart attack. Both times - TELEMARKETERS!!!!
I know how you guys feel, got a call the other day from unknown number in the middle of class and just about went crazy. The teacher let me take the call turned out to be a wrong number.
I've seen a couple of Virginians on Instagram posting pictures of their appointment letters. One was from Norfolk - I can't remember the city of the other one at the moment. If you have an Instagram, search for the hashtag #usafa and you'll find a bunch of appointment letters, many of which aren't on SAF.
They're still sending candidates to the board (USAFA counselor told me) so everyone will probably not hear back this week, although i'm sure a lot will.
An unknown number called just a while ago, and so I rushed to pick it up. They said "Is this Ms. Garmon?" so I said "Yes.." He then said "Great! I'm from Orkin and I'm calling about scheduling tomorrow," and I said "Oh, you mean Stacey, not Alyssa.." HAHA! I was so disappointed!
