I Day vision test

What form of vision tests are done on I day?

My son does not wear glasses (just one contact) and doesn't even have a pair. I know they are issued glasses on I day and in the PTR packet they asked for the prescription from the Eye Doctor ( I imagine to have a pair ready for him). If we need to send a pair we can but is there a point? I know once plebe summer is over he will go straight to contact again.

There is no real vision test on I-Day. They will do a color vision test on I-Day. The complete vision exam will occur during the first 2 weeks of plebe summer. In your son's case (based on previous posts) it is up to you if you want to purchase a pair of glasses for him.
