I was awarded a 4-year Army ROTC scholarship for the years of 2022 through 2026,I started my DODMERB in May of 2022, soon after hearing about my acceptance. I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 7 and took medication for it up until February of 2022. I was told that I needed to be off of medication for 1 year before I could be considered for a waiver. I have heard almost nothing from DODMERB since august after I fulfilled their last requested AMI. I have been waiting for what feels like forever and it feels like my ROTC unit is not helping at all. I have excelled in college, keeping a 3.5 GPA in a chemistry and chemical engineering major. I am now "UNDER WAIVER REVIEW"

Once I have completed the year off of medication how long will it take to get a waiver, and how can I speed it up?
Have they received all the information they need?
Will I even receive my waiver?
Who can I talk to at DODMERB to expediate this process?
What are my next steps?

There are a list of contacts at DoDMERB on the website based on last name. I believe that is your only point of access to ask those questions.

Absolutely Inquire with your assigned medical technician at DODMERB to make sure all pieces of information have been received. If they have been, you should be able to ask your PMS if the waiver has been initiated on the ROTC end and if so have them inquire up the chain.

We also completed submission of all AMI and remedials in August (Army 3 year scholarship) and only know our waiver was recently approved through communication with his PMS. DODMERB still has him listed as pending. The wait is agonizing and I feel your pain.

Best of luck!
