I was awarded a 4-year Army ROTC scholarship for the years of 2022 through 2026,I started my DODMERB in May of 2022, soon after hearing about my acceptance. I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 7 and took medication for it up until February of 2022. I was told that I needed to be off of medication for 1 year before I could be considered for a waiver. I have heard almost nothing from DODMERB since august after I fulfilled their last requested AMI. I have been waiting for what feels like forever and it feels like my ROTC unit is not helping at all. I have excelled in college, keeping a 3.5 GPA in a chemistry and chemical engineering major. I am now "UNDER WAIVER REVIEW"
Once I have completed the year off of medication how long will it take to get a waiver, and how can I speed it up?
Have they received all the information they need?
Will I even receive my waiver?
Who can I talk to at DODMERB to expediate this process?
What are my next steps?
