INDOC Reporting Class of 2026

I realize the information is coming...and I assume it will be in my DS's BFE (he got his appointment almost 2 wks ago) Based off of what I have read the report date for class 2025 was the Friday after Independence Day. Seems like it has been for several previous years too.

Has anyone received word yet as to the report date for class of 2026? Will they need to be on campus in June of this year at all? Wanted to give DS and family a summer get-away, but wanted to leave him enough time to prepare too. TIA!
 
On my son's letter it ways that he will be reporting on or about July 9th, 2021!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 No kidding. He was looking at it and told me " Dad, I am late!!!!!" Pretty sure it will be on July 8th.

it's also on my letter. Let's see what they send in May for more details.
By the way, Congrats to your son and he is on the right time:)

My son is a 2024 and worked Indoc last year for the class of 2025. You are correct - it looks like report day for Indoc *should be* Friday July 8. (You have to learn to associate an asterisk with almost everything having to do with the Academy because everything is always subject to change. But I guess that also applies "life" in general if you really think about it.)

I totally agree, but when the asterisk is located right next to 2021, it is more than subject to change 😂😂

Well, yes - there is that too. I kind of disregarded the mistake of "2021." Maybe I have just gotten used to seeing so many things like that coming from the Academy. ;)

It happens. Back when I graduated, they spelled my name wrong on my diploma. . . . I was okay with that. It could get sorted. At least my name was spelled correctly on my license, and that was all that I cared about.

wow, that's interesting. Did you get a diploma with correct name later?

Based on past practices USMMA has always had their report date on the Friday after Independence Day. So this year that would be Friday, July 8th.
Our son is in the USMMA Prep-school at NMMI so I asked Commander Mike Bedryk, Director of Admissions, back in December and this is what he said, "This is unconfirmed at the moment, but the tentative Indoc report date is 8 JUL. I should have confirmation after the holidays."

Oh, yeah. In fact, I found out about it the day before graduation. They put a wallet sized laminated copy of our diploma in our mail boxes. I looked at it and went down to Wiley Hall right away to get it corrected. Back then, the tubes that they handed to us at the ceremony were empty. Supposedly to keep us from pulling and pranks during the festivities. We had to pick up our license and diploma afterward. I got my diploma a few weeks later at my folks house. I picked up my license and headed straight to the union hall before flying home. . . .
