How you think the nomination essay topic" What Military Service means to you"? Thanks!
 
Are you looking for the "RIGHT" answer? It doesn't exist. That's why the question asks what it means to "YOU". Are you fishing for the proper answer to answer your essay question?

I'm not trying to sound mean or anything. Don't take it the wrong way. Simply stating that it "Doesn't MATTER" what military service means to me. What matters, it what it "Means to YOU".
 
I know what you said. Military service really means a LOT to me. My questions is should I broadly mention all the parts or it's better to focus only on 2 or 3 and get deeper?
 
Personally, I would focus and get deep. Everyone has nearly the same BIG idea of service.

Your idea of service will also likely change the longer you serve.... morph.
