Is it a good or bad thing that I haven’t heard back yet?

I understand that it’s late in the cycle and that there is a global pandemic happening right now that will most likely affect the admissions cycle but is it a positive or negative thing that I haven’t heard back yet? My parents have said in a reassuring manner that it’s a good thing because they have probably weeded through the unfit candidates but I am curious. I know that the academy sends both rejection and acceptance letters throughout the cycle. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hey JakeA23, I’m in the same boat as far as waiting goes...I’m also waiting for a possible waiver to top it off!! But honestly the responses we will get at this point on your question will always be “in the middle of the road” type answers. I have concluded that as positive an answer I would WANT to hear, it may provide false hope. On the other hand people could say, “nope your done” and that would make us feel like like...well let’s say not good!! At this point I like to think we have a 50% chance of receiving an appointment...either we will or we won’t. I have thought about the answers I would like to hear and if I don’t get in, then I would start to wonder “but so and so said this and that...”. So as much as the answers we will get on these forums, they won’t make us feel better but some comfort in knowing we still have a chance, I’ll take that for now! That’s all we got!! Trust me when I say that waiting is driving me crazy too but that still won’t help me cope with the fact that we can’t hurry the process. Pulling for you! 2 MORE WEEKS!!!!!
