I’m wondering if anyone knows the schedule or rotation for their time at Jack’s Valley. Do they do two courses per day? Did they do any courses more than once? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Schedules are squadron dependent and scheduling may change due to weather and other conditions. As I recall, the confidence course is typically run once and others (e.g. the assault and obstacle course) are run twice. From other posts, I know you are staying up to date via WebGuy, it will probably give you the best (but incomplete) view of what cadets are doing from day to day.

But, IMHO, don't worry about the day-to-day routine too much. When you see your DS, you'll get to relive the portions of BCT he feels important through his perspective.

Thanks, that really does help since it was more of a curiosity question rather than a worrywart one for a change! And as one other poster mentioned in a reply to me, I am learning to take the hint from the popular song and “Let it go!” IMHO, this forum has been 100x more useful for me than the FB pages when I am looking for credible intel on specific topics. Here I’ve gotten replies from graduates, other parents, and even cadre. I really do appreciate you guys taking the time to answer my questions!

Wait till your DD casually states she's waiting for a male stranger (some civilian from nowheresville) to come over to her apt. to buy a piece of furniture she advertised on the internet...Wait, what?? Any chance a guy friend (sexist, I know) can be there as well?? I wish she was back in Jacks...LOL

I have followed my DD every day on webguy. They have all completed all of the courses at least once as of yesterday. They have to do the obstacle course a 2nd time and are timed during it and the assault course they have to do again. My DD told me on doolie day out they had to do all the courses twice, but I think she was wrong. Webguy blog has a lot of really good information about them all too. I sure hope they don't have to do the chemical again. I got upset seeing my DD pictures as a trainer was beside her and she looked in complete distress after being tear gassed. The trainer with their mask on, walked her down the trail. They have been there a week now and march back I believe on Wednesday! I can't wait until they get their phones back for good!!

Ugh, I know that feeling! My DS looked awful as well and it was terrible seeing that picture. But thanks for the info on the rotation!!
