I wouldn't consider it a "ding" quite yet. A source will let me know when the posting of scholarships is completed(a day or 2...)and of course, I will share with all of you. It won't be great news, but at least we will know when its time to look into our April calendars and pick a day:wink:

Someone needs to make a movie and call it the "January 4, 2011 AROTC Board". We have ALL the elements of drama and comedy around here. :shake:

The only other kid in my school and I both checked a few hours ago, and neither of our status's had changed. Well, what's a few more days. Hopefully none of us on this site will have to wait till March's board, but that's overly optimistic. The end result is what's desired no matter when we're told. And on starting the new thread, I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope it never has to approach the size of this thread; for that would mean it was a long wait and very tumultuous. Good luck to the rest of those cadets(and parents) out there! I'm with ya!
 
They might be uploading the new messages for more kids...keep optomistic and things will work out...:thumb:
 
Out of interest can the people who had good news today post:

- First character of last name
- Location
- Schools

They must be using some process to update the website. Cjs's didn't see an update for over 24 hours after the first change and her last name is on the back-end of the alphabet.
 
The status page has been offline several times today. Maybe they are doing small uploads. Not sure why, a DB insert of 1,000 records would take a few seconds BUT this is government we are dealing with here.

You are funny, FloridaDad! :shake: I always enjoy your posts (well, most of the time!).

I agree that forming a list will add 60 posts and might not generate a pattern that we can interpret. Where is John Nash when you need him???
