I am a freshmen in the top 1% of my class, and I am interested in attending a service academy or ROTC. I am currently enrolled in MCJROTC LE1 at my high school and would like to know if continuing JROTC in high school would be more beneficial to me than taking more advanced Honors and AP classes during those class periods to be competetive for admission. I currently play 3 high school sports and, as such, do not have much time to participate in any of the JROTC teams after school.

AP classes over JROTC EVERY day of the week, no question.

+1 to LITS. Too bad though. Also, the additional higher level classes will be of more benefit no matter where you apply and go to college.
