The day kids start wearing their JROTC uniforms correctly is not anywhere near the present.

Only someone who is stupid enough to steal a dog from an adoption center would wear their uniform while committing the crime. Clearly they have not yet learned to ask in either situation.

Story is very strange. Not optimistic about this young lady's future in terms of commissioning.

And talking on the phone while walking around in uniform?

That being said, she was probably clueless as to the fact her father was stealing a dog for her because her BFF clearly had he attention...

Yeah, I suspect she's a somewhat innocent party in all this. Hope they get to keep the attack chihuahua.

Another thing I missed reading this story

Not to make fun of law enforcement anywhere but...

"The sheriff asked anyone with information about the dog, the girl or the man who accompanied the girl to contact the Lexington County Sheriff's Department at (803) 785-8230 or CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC. Citizens also can provide information anonymously by accessing the Crime Tip link on the Sheriff's Department web site (www.lexingtonsheriff.com)."

    Really???

No bigger crimes down there to solve?

That's an odd story. I would think the perpetrators would be smarter than to wear JROTC uniforms. I doubt they are cadets.
