Hello, I’m currently dq to join the navy however it is still opened for consideration as long as I get paperwork from the dermatologist stating that I don’t have it. I don’t have any past medical records of anything. At the time of meps I had showed them where I currently had some eczema. I just wanted to know some thoughts and how likely I am to get this waiver.

Did you self diagnose or did a doctor tell you you have eczema? If the former then perhaps a dermatologist exam will get you over the hurdle. Never self-diagnose. If a doctor diagnosed you and you had it while getting your DoDMERB exam then I expect it's unlikely you'll get a waiver. However, the only way to find out for sure is to give it a shot. I'm not a doctor, nor have I examined you and each case is handled on an individual basis.

Someone more knowledgeable in the medical arts might chime in with more.

“...I had showed them where I currently had some eczema.”

Why would you do that?

Yeah I wasn’t diagnosed, don’t have any medical records of the situation. Just came from the doctor and now I have a note.

No waivers even if it’s mild. I heard air force accepts mild cases now
