My congressman was relatively late in sending nominations to the service academies. My nomination appeared on my portal on Jan 28th, but I was 3Q around mid January. I imagine they already had the appointments for the first wave finalized by that point, but I just want a second opinion as to the likelihood of the admissions office getting to my congressional district later than other ones. (on a side note, I haven't heard anything from my congressman's office, not even a letter saying I received a nomination, it just appeared on the 28th)

The appointment is based off the slate of that particular MOC. What is happening in other districts is meaningless.

Apologies, I don't think I was clear in my wording, I'm curious to know if the late nomination has an impact on how soon they review my application

They will only consider candidates with nominations for appointments, so I am sure it has delayed the process.

The nomination slate was not late. MOCs had until 1/31 to submit slates. You are at no disadvantage -- or advantage -- relative to others on your slate. What happens in other MOC districts/states is irrelevant to you. USMA doesn't necessarily review applications based on when they came in, were completed, or had a nomination attached. They're trying to piece together a very complex puzzle, so be patient and trust in the system.
