LEAD Applicant Awaiting decision

Hello everyone, first post here on the Academy forums page. I am a LEAD applicant I am wondering if any other LEAD applicants have received a decision from the academy yet. Curious because I have been seeing a handful of people announcing their acceptance and wondering if LEAD applicants should start to hear soon or if we are in a completely different applicant pool and won't hear for a while.

When/how did you get your admission notification? Also, what sort of struggles are you facing that high school entries don't (besides the usual things like not fitting in, being expected to lead, and having trouble being led by those who are younger than you? Did you go to the prep school? If so, how was it?

Also a prior/preppie/freshman here. I didn't get notified by my commander until the end of March when I got my initial acceptance. A few days after my commander told me, the accept/reject popped up in my portal. If they call and offer you a prep school spot, take it. It is worth it and is pretty much a golden ticket to getting up here. You will get used to being older than most of even the seniors, and if you don't think about it alot, it is not that big of a deal. Teaches you how not to do things once you become an upperclassman. Interesting how your commander knew before your portal populated with the acceptance. Ill have to check with mine sometime to see if he knows anything I don't. Too bad I am above the age requirement for the prep school so my only chance is direct, otherwise I would totally go to the prep school if they offered me it.
