Leaders Encouraging Airmen Development

I'd believe it. I'm driving this bus thing for graduation, and it's my first time ever driving this thing. The birds flew down along the main street on base like 5 times right over my bus... It scared me sooo much every time the bus shook... xD (Prior enlisted coming from prep school working over summer)

Is it okay that I sort of smiled at this visual??

Can't wait to see it myself!

Funny. At least the weather held for graduation. It started raining and got cool in the late afternoon. I didn't get to see the Thunderbirds fly today.

Ok. Back to waiting. Dagger, you still hanging in there? :yllol:

Absolutely. I'm passing the time by turning my dormitory room on base into a 1950's sports bar. It's coming along quite nicely if I do say so myself.

Very creative. It's good that you have a sense of humor.

Directive appointment candidates arrive at the AFA five weeks from today and Prep School prior enlisted arrive in less than seven weeks. It's getting closer. Maybe we'll know soon. :thumb:

June 1st

Today is June 1st. I'm ready to see some news on this thread. I'd love to hear that those LEAD candidates still waiting received acceptances.

Was really hoping you guys would have heard today...

waiting and waiting

I know it is a bit stressful and it would be nice to have the information now but acceptance packets may get as late as even few days before I-day. I got my acceptance to the Prep School while I was deployed and had a month left to do all the outprocessing from my old base. I know some people who had to report the next day for I-day so be flexible and check your mailbox every day. Good luck!

Thanks azeagle. I know notifications can happen right up until I-day. It is a little more involved for airman, especially stationed overseas with a POV. If it is meant to be, everything will come together. The time frame just makes it more stressful.

Three weeks until I-day and five weeks till prior service arrive at Prep. The response from admissions about all of the Prep slots being filled was discouraging. I was hopting that was still an option for my DS. :frown:

We have to get an answer this month, right?

Skymom

Hell, for the prep school, assuming there are readers who are waiting who are young enough, you can be notified as late as early next month!

not really. prep school doesn't start until like Jun 10 or something like that this summer
so you have up until that date to be notified about the prep school

Okay thanks! And prep school doesn't start until the 18th of July... i think....

For prep, priors report on July 11 and others report July 18. I'm just not sure we'll see anymore prep appointments after the comment on fb that all the prep slots are filled.

Who knows though. I can't figure out the process.

Dagger has to find out prior to June 28.
