Light year?

The two congressional districts that I serve did have a "light year". Both had just over half the number of typical applicants. In a normal year, they average 15 for USAFA and slightly more for USNA and USMA. In 2020, neither had 10 for USAFA (one didn't interview and nominated them all) and just over 10 for USNA and USMA.

This may not be a nationwide trend and just a fluke year where I live.

Roger. Again, I can assure you and everyone else on this thread, it is NOT nationwide...not even close:wiggle:

My state and district actually had more applicants for nominations than usual. Typically the senators have about 50 applicants for USAFA, but this year there were 85.

Our NJ MOC doesn't even schedule interviews until January. Have no idea whether the numbers are high or low relative to previous years.

Mine had 22 for the district. I only know because alot of the people in the board work in my dad's office ( they didn't realize I was his kid so keep the selection fair).
