Pretty good bet if you're 3Q. I assume medically you're fine?
Read the LOA and check to see if it says that you are guaranteed an appointment when you get your nom. That will answer your question.
so does mine! I was wondering the same thing? when it will say appointment on my portal?Yes, I'm medically qualified. LOA says I'm "virtually assured of appt upon receipt of nomination".
That was the scenario with my DS. Was 3Q & had LOA. Once his portal was updated reflecting his nomination, his appointment offer was posted within a week. Sounds like you are almost there!! Good luck & keep us posted!
I received my LOA I think Dec. 17, got my nom this Tuesday, and Friday my portal changed to offer of appointmentDo you recall when the change was made?
My son also received an LOA pending a nomination. The nomination was received in mid December. His candidate portal still shows "candidate".
I think I'm more anxious than he is and I know I should just relax.

Same for my DS but his LOA was for Navy. He has an appt to Navy, but waiting to hear from AF to see if he gets an appt there also. We'll then travel to both SA's again and make the final decision. Bottom line is LOA plus a Nom almost always = an appointment. That was the scenario with my DS. Was 3Q & had LOA.
