I recently received a 4 year, type 7, technical major AFROTC scholarship and I have committed to attending University of Washington (UW). My top choice major I chose for rotc is aerospace engineering. My intended major at UW is also aerospace but, unfortunately, I did not get directly admitted to the UW college of engineering. And the next time I can apply is after freshman year. My question is if I get denied again and be forced to apply after sophomore year, will my AFROTC scholarship be revoked?

You might be able to get permission to change to another technical major. You might even want to do that now unless you're absolutely dead set on becoming an engineer. What you major in will have little to do with what you do in the military, but it could very well come into play after the military.

Not that I'm aware of, but it might be worth a call to the unit at UW. They can certainly give you better guidance on how to proceed than I (or anyone else) can here. Be persistent. If email doesn't work, use the phone. If one number doesn't get an answer try another. Best bet would be the Freshman Adviser (or whatever AFROTC calls them). Keep in mind that these folks are busy too. In addition to their "day job" they re also working on their Masters or Doctorate degrees. During breaks they may be deployed. One time DS's freshman adviser contacted us by email from Afghanistan. Be persistent but also patient.
