March 23-28th....a GOOD WEEK FOR AN APPT!

IN FLA.......I am confused about the review board though, if they were deferred for early action will we get another one of those "going before the board" letters, Shellz do you remember from last year if you got a second one?

No, we didnt get a second letter , we only got the deferral letter back in December.

PS here at USMMA We met 2 boyz still waiting to hear from CGA...
so there are many more that just havent found the forums yet...( Ihad dinner with one tonight) :thumb:

Still Nothing here either

No news in Minnesota, as we are hopefully optimistic on hearing good news from the CGA

orthpa... did you happen to beansprout with a really cool and handsome 4/c a week or two ago?

Still no mail

I am convinced there is a problem at the post office, ha ha.....

My quess:shake: - based on reading the forums - is that Early Action deferral decisions are complete this week and there will a mass mailing this weekend. Regular decisions will be mailed on or about April 10. Good luck to all:thumb:

sad news

My son got the thin letter today and was very bummed out. He may try next year or go for the "blue 21" program.

I'm sorry....our family does know how that feels. An extra year at home was good for our family (notice I didn't just say our boy....). Good luck and hopefully this next year will be filled with great things for your son. It was for mine.

Hello to Alabama candidate. Have been reading the posts and live here in the south as well, and no love coming my way yet. No TWE though, so I'm hoping and praying for relief soon. Keep holding on......

thx flyboy

Thanks to all. He has a full ride to a TN school and plans to try again. Good luck flyboy. I'm an ex-airforce pilot. Either way you go will be a fun journey. I am still blown away by the USCG and its incredible mission.

Thanks for your kind words. Still no word from AFA. I have been accepted to The Citadel and another civilian college with scholarships, but my first love is the AFA. You must be very proud of him for having a full ride in TN. Best of luck and I think he will have a great time there. I was there 2 weeks ago for Winterfest at the university and had so much fun.

I am still hoping to be an AF pilot as you were one day.

If you live in the Birmingham area, Nick is doing a concert from 7:30 to 9:00 at the Virginia Samford Theatre (upstairs) downtown BHM, on Sat. the 4th. Free, all ages and a variety of music styles from Memphis, Alt Rock, Country to Broadway. I'll be glad to talk about military aviation if you have any questions.
