When is that scheduled for?
S status is still listed as "no decision etc etc"
Nothing like waiting til the last minute.
Myself, after 2+ yrs of advising and chasing this stuff, I'm just about done !

I hope I have not confused you all about the alphabet info I got today.
Zig-Zag. What i said earlier is that one person has the info on applicants with the last name A thru F.. Becasue you have a last name beginning with C does not mean that if they are announcing people with N or even Z does not mean that good news is not coming. Hang in there!

I don't know when the last board was held (or is being held) - I just know that when I talked to Pensacola the first of April, I was assured that there would be at least one more board and that DS' package would be reviewed at that time. And that they hoped that everyone would know something (either scholarship or not) by the end of April.

Great, thanks for the info and best of luck.
He's trecking to USC from Mass regardless of status and he'll deal with it all as it comes. Good lessons in the operations of our gov't at work (?) either way !

Someone posted that CC will NOT change your status if you are not offered a scholarship. They will send the TWE (thin white envelope) with the bad news by regular mail.

I wish the person with the A-F info typed faster :frown: I mean, Eh is closer to the end of that range than the start. But remembering the several day process for the past two boards is comforting. Good luck to everyone else waiting, and big congrats to everyone already notified!!! :thumb:

Not true. I got a status change online that simply said "We regret to inform you that you did not receive an nrotc scholarship".
 
Status Change

DS's status just changed. I am so excited for him. I can't wait till Monday...he will be back from his cruise and I can tell him in person. Can a ROO at one of his choice schools tell me the school or schools?

I hope everyone else receives good news also. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed for everyone.

Congrats!! We're from VA too. DS got scholarship back in October.

I think you are right, TrpRMom. I had the same thing changed as my status for the nrotc scholarship, but I'm pretty sure that the army is different.
 
I would like to thank everyone that has posted on here Re AROTC, you have been a great help into the inner workings of CC. My son’s page changed about the time he was having his medical (11:00ish EST) so it was a nice surprise when we returned home to find he had been awarded a Scholarship, length unknown. Being a B he was one of the first, but I hope many more will have the same good news by the end of today.
You have been offered an Army ROTC Scholarship. We must receive your acceptance/declination by the date in your letter or the offer will be withdrawn. Your name will be sent to DODMERB the day your winner letter is printed. There will be about 72 workweek hours prior to being able to see your name in the DODMERB system.
You may check your medical qualification status by visiting the Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board DoDMERB WebSite

Ditto..we are WA. Still waiting in Kansas :frown: Definately counting down until happy hour - that at least provides a distraction from checking the site.:beer1:
