Hello, I hear that the Marines can guarantee a flight spot given you get a good enough score on the ASTB. I was curious when you took this test and a little more general information over the Marine option.

I don't know if there is a fixed time to take the test but I've known of people who got their slot during sophomore year in college.

You can take the ASTB at any point, starting your freshman year. You are able to take it three times total, and only your most recent score counts. If you want to secure an aviation guarantee, I'd recommend earning qualifying scores no later than the fall semester of your junior year, due to the lengthy flight physical process.
