Maybe that's the real reason she left? Is McChrystal married?

The BLOGS are already going nuts on this. Rumors of Alcoholic? Running his mouth against the administration he swore to support? On and On. I can't see why he would pick Yale but to each his own. Very beautiful school if you get within the colleges. Downtown isn't that nice. Very close so I hope I can meet him or hear him speak one day.

You can't have it both ways. Folks talk about how 'elitist' HYP are and how out of touch with the military they are yet - you don't see a 4 star General actually working there as a good thing?

I think it's fabulous that Yale grad students will learn Leadership from a 4 Star General. Good for them and good for McChrystal.

It is a great thing that he is teaching there. Don't get me wrong. I hope to sit in on one of his free lectures. Hope he does one real soon. Sit in one of those beautiful facilities and listen to someone who has been there, done that and made the decisions, priceless. Twenty minutes away.

Especially since he spent a yr at Harvard as a senior fellow while he was in the military!

Other than the fact that it's an exceptional world-class instutition which offered him money to talk about what he's done for the past three decades, no reason I'm sure.

Ever spend any time at Harvard? Harvard folks are inexplicably miserable about the institution. Yale is a hoot. Don't pass out by the statue of Nathan Hale, though. They don't like that.

I meant the location not the school. I assume he will commute from an undisclosed location so his time downtown will be minimal.
