I’ve been waiting and waiting like many others and I’m very reluctant to check my portal, I get too nervous. On that note however, will I be notified by email when my status changes regardless of anything?

I’ve also been seeing posts about The Academy already having all their slots fill which makes me think I should deposit the money for the plan B school.

I've been in the same boat. You just have to wait it out until you get a portal change followed by a BFE or TWE.
