Medical Disqualification from ROTC

Good morning all,

I recently submitted my Army Green to Gold packet and unfortunately learned in March that I was medically disqualified for lattice degeneration and Raynaud's syndrome.

Unfortunately, I do not know if I have been put in for a waiver. I called Cadet Command and they naturally became very snappy with me. I understand that the odds are against me considering that I have two disqualifying conditions, both of which are very minor according to the examining doctors. However, I dread having to contact Cadet Command and being in the receiving end of their rudeness. And the LT at the ROTC program that I applied to has been little help. Whom else may I turn to, even to see if my packet was worth getting considered for a waiver?

P.S. - I plan on sending additional medical papers to DODMERB that attest that my conditions do not affect me and are minor.

I'm far from being an expert but I don't think they would proceed with the waiver process unless you were granted a scholarship. DoDMERB does not grant the waiver, ROTC does it.
