Medical Troubles

Hello everyone,

I am applying to West Point and have all my application items (including a nomination) submitted on my portal except for my medical. I had to make a remedial appointment, so the status is labeled as "Remedial" and has been since late October. I assumed the issues with getting this in were related to the ongoing downage of dodmerb.tricare.mil. Is there anyone I can contact to try and expedite my medical getting entered? I am completely qualified and all the paperwork is submitted to DODMERB, I simply need the paperwork to be filed.

You are not alone. My DS has no medical issues and all exams were finished in late October- submitted back to DODMERB in early November and still no results on USMA portal. This process took about 2-3 weeks last year when my other son did exams and got results. My current DS has a principal nomination and all qualified through admissions minus medical. As you, once medical shows “qualified” he should be good to go. Process this year is extremely slow and cumbersome. They are only sending results every other week to academies instead of daily like last year.
