I have my packet together and everything is good to go to start ROTC as a junior in college when I get home from this deployment. However, my medical waiver for Super Ventricular Tachycardia was denied. I believe the ROTC recruiter is going to try to run it again. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this. I am currently in the military and deployed to Afghanistan with the 113th Cavalry out of Iowa. I just reenlisted and have no other hang ups with the military for my "history" of SVT.

I have also not had any incidents of SVT for over a year and am more physically fit now than I have ever been, which I believe is part of the disappearance of these occurances.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Post this on the DodMerb thread. Mullen will be the best person to give you direction on how to approach your situation.

I know he stated a while back that the DoDMERB site now has a held desk section, but I can't recall the sites address.

MullenLE will probably tell you to email him your last 4 SS and will go from there.

Good luck
